Land Protection from the Indigenous Perspective

More than a decade later, NLC has become nationally recognized for land rescue, restoration and protection. Climate and Health: A Focus on Solutions

Increased anthropogenic use of fossil fuels has brought about climate change and is adversely affecting planetary health. In recent years, the role of climate change on human health has also been brought into the discussion. A new Declaration on Climate and Health was signed by 124 countries at COP28, with the goal of preparing healthcare systems to cope with climate change and acknowledging the need for governments to protect people's health. Now is the time to increase momentum and implement solutions. In this webinar, Dr. Kari Nadeau, Chair of the Department of Environmental Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, discusses the many policies and solutions for combating climate change and details how each and every one of us can help with this global existential problem.
