Teaming Up For Reforestation

Back to Nature is supporting TNC's conservation work, including reforestation efforts through its Plant a Billion Trees program.

Trees are vital. As the biggest plants on the planet, trees give us oxygen, store carbon, give life to the world’s wildlife and much more. They also provide us with the materials for tools and shelter.

Committed to helping restore and protect one of Earth’s most precious resources, Back to Nature, a popular brand of plant-based snacks, is teaming up with The Nature Conservancy to support its conservation efforts, including its Plant a Billion Trees campaign – a tree planting initiative with a goal of planting a billion trees across the planet.

The U.S. is home to some of the world’s oldest and tallest trees. Back to Nature’s $500,000 commitment is helping to support TNC’s conservation efforts, including planting more than 275,000 trees in critical U.S. forests through the Plant a Billion Trees project.

Helping People See The Benefits of Forests

Back to Nature is also helping to grow consumer awareness on the importance of trees and the benefits they provide to people and the planet by providing visibility via product packaging and in retail promotions.

Replanting some of the rarest habitats

To celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2020, Back to Nature helped in replanting the sandhill and longleaf pine forests of TNC’s Apalachicola Bluffs and Ravines Preserve in Florida.
