Earth’s ocean cover 70% of the planet and are teeming with incredible biodiversity—yet less than 8% of these vital ecosystems are protected. As we celebrate one year of collaboration with Tiffany & Co., its Love For Our Oceans initiative has already generated USD $1.6 million in support of TNC—advancing global efforts to safeguard and restore marine environments and ensuring a healthier future for our ocean.

As part of the initiative, Tiffany & Co. created the T Smile by Tiffany cord bracelets, designed with cords made entirely from ocean-bound plastic bottles. Available in three cord colors, the collection includes bracelets with or without diamonds in either 18k rose gold or yellow gold. For each bracelet sold through October 14, 2026, either USD $100 or $200, depending on the piece selected, will be given to The Nature Conservancy.

Preserving Our Ocean, Together

Through its Love For Our Oceans initiative, Tiffany & Co. is helping drive meaningful progress in ocean conservation across the globe. In Australia, their support is restoring shellfish reefs—critical ecosystems that filter water, buffer coastlines, and support marine biodiversity. With up to 99% of these reefs lost, TNC is working to rebuild them using recycled shell, limestone, and other natural materials to create new oyster and mussel beds.

On the U.S. East Coast, Tiffany & Co. is supporting the Shinnecock Kelp Farmers in their efforts to restore Shinnecock Bay. By growing sugar kelp, the community is improving water quality and developing sustainable, locally led solutions. In Palau, the collaboration is empowering local fishers and women leaders to restore reefs and mangroves, strengthening food security and coastal resilience. These efforts align with TNC’s broader mission to protect 30% of coral reefs globally by 2030—ensuring that these vital habitats continue to support marine life, coastal protection, fisheries, and local communities.
