About Rachel
Rachel Rouillard leads The Nature Conservancy's work in New Hampshire by guiding staff, operations and partnerships that advance conservation across the Granite State. She oversees New Hampshire’s team and Board of Trustees, a $7 million budget and three offices statewide while serving as a visible advocate for TNC’s mission and priorities.
Rachel works with internal teams and external partners to coordinate connections between New Hampshire’s work and TNC’s regional and global efforts. Her leadership reflects decades of conservation and public service experience in the state and she is widely recognized as a trusted advocate for New Hampshire’s lands and waters.

Rachel previously served as TNC’s Director of Conservation Strategy, Executive Director for the Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership, and founding Executive Director of the Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP). She lives on the seacoast and is a Granite State native who you’ll find on the trail, in the art studio or seeking out local oysters for dinner (or lunch!). Rachel earned a BA in geography from Keene State College and an MA in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
