Biography

As the Director of Philanthropy for The Nature Conservancy in Massachusetts, Steve Fulmer secures major and principal gifts in support of critical conservation efforts both regionally and around the globe. 

Steve was raised in New Jersey and is a graduate of the College of Wooster in Ohio. He began his fundraising career more than twenty-five years ago at the Holderness School in New Hampshire. Throughout his career, Steve has served organizations that are close to his heart and dedicated to protecting the natural world, including Zoo New England, The New England Aquarium and the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences. 

Never far from the ocean, Steve and his family live on the South Shore of Massachusetts. When he isn’t working on his old house, he is likely to be found fly fishing, spending time with family or simply sharing his dogs’ enthusiasm for being outside and alive.
