Your corporate relationship with The Nature Conservancy helps ensure lasting conservation success in West Virginia.

West Virginia is the heart of the Central Appalachians—a place where vast forests and pristine waters sustain communities, fuel economies and create unmatched opportunities for outdoor recreation. These natural resources aren’t just scenic—they’re essential. They filter drinking water, clean the air, provide food and help fight climate change. Protecting them isn’t just good for the environment. Protecting them is good for business.

That’s why we invite you to join the Corporate Council for the Environment. As a member, your business becomes part of a powerful network committed to safeguarding West Virginia’s most important places. Together, we identify challenges, share best practices and develop solutions that strengthen our economy while preserving the landscapes that make this state a place to work, play and thrive. Your membership demonstrates leadership and responsibility and shows customers, employees and partners that you’re invested in West Virginia’s future. Let’s make an impact together. After all, the prosperity of West Virginia is everyone’s business.

CONNECT

Through Corporate Council for the Environment, businesses have the opportunity to connect with cross-sector corporate leaders, policy-experts, and leading scientists who are interested in conservation and improving the environmental performance of their company.

LEARN

Businesses have a unique chance to learn about the latest TNC conservation efforts and science, as well as the implications to businesses. In addition, Corporate Council members are invited to networking events, organized outings and volunteer events at TNC preserves throughout West Virginia.

DEVELOP

As members of this unique council, business owners and employees develop business tools and economic cases via networking that enable them to incorporate the value of nature into their business practices.
