Biography
Liz Crow is the government relations lead for The Nature Conservancy's North America Agriculture and Mississippi River Basin programs, with each program supporting the goal of large-scale systems change in land and river management. Liz supports these programmatic goals through her leadership to identify, develop and leverage critical policy opportunities. In this role, she provides a connection between the conservation and science driving the work of the programs to policy and government relations teams at the state and federal level and serves as a key partner to TNC’s federal policy team.
Before taking this role, Liz spent seven years leading the external affairs team for TNC’s Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota programs. Prior to joining TNC, she served as a House Congressional staffer with a focus on water, agriculture and natural resource policy for a member of the House Agriculture Committee.
Liz holds a law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law and a B.A. in political science from Principia College. She’s based in her hometown of Vinita, Oklahoma.
